About Liyoung

Musician first.
Engineer always.

I’m a Music Technology–trained producer, arranger, and audio engineer specializing in collegiate a cappella.

As Music Director, producer, and arranger for the University of Illinois Xtension Chords from 2022–2026, I learned how to make a performance work from both sides of the glass. I bring that musical perspective into every edit, mix decision, and revision.

Alongside a cappella, my experience spans studio recording, live engineering, podcast production, and independent music creation across jazz, electronic, and funk.

Good to know

Before we
get started.

Still unsure which package fits? Send a short project overview and I’ll point you in the right direction.

Ask a question
Do you work with groups outside St. Louis?+

Yes. Editing, mixing, mastering, and recording guidance can all be handled remotely.

How should we deliver our tracks?+

Dry WAV files exported from the same start point and clearly labeled by voice part, singer, and take are ideal. I’ll provide a delivery checklist before the project begins.

What counts as a source track?+

Each separate audio file or lane delivered for production counts as one source track. The number of singers alone does not determine the price.

Are revisions included?+

Complete Production includes two revision rounds. The revision scope for standalone services is confirmed in your project quote.
